Me’anda Media is Megan’s playground—where stories matter, mischief sparks joy, and insights remind us we belong.

What Me’anda Means
Me’anda was born over dinner with my two sisters almost ten years ago. I was about to head overseas travelling (as Australians do so well), and we were brainstorming names for my travel blog.
We played with the fusion of my first and middle names—Megan Amanda—until my younger sister scribbled Me’anda on a napkin. The apostrophe? A cheeky nod to Chris Lilley’s Ja’mie (if you know, you know).
The name has stayed with me, just like the dream: to tell stories that matter.
What You’ll Find Here
Me’anda is part storytelling, part experiment, part invitation:
- Stories that remind us our path is our own…also it’s just fun to peek into someone else’s too.
- Insights to stir curiosity and hopefully make you feel a little less alone.
- A space to come when you’re seeking comfort, discovery, or a splash of mischief.
How I Became A Storyteller
From newsrooms to boardrooms to podcasts, the thread has always been connection.
- TV & Print Journalism: Jacoby-Walkley scholarship winner (Channel Nine: 60 Minutes, Today Show, A Current Affair, National Newsroom), ABC’s Australian Story, news.com.au, The New Zealand Herald, The North Queensland Register, Queensland Country Life.
- Banking & Business: writing multi-million-dollar deals, delivering training and workshops, shaping strategic comms.
Why I Love Stories
There’s nothing like the end of an interview when someone has been heard and realises their story matters.
That moment—that spark of someone realising their own inherent value—is why I do this.
Who is Megan?

I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity to everything I do. Newsrooms, corporate boardrooms, family homes—I’ve told stories for the Emmy-award winning and the everyday alike.
What I’ve learned: life is messy, humans are brilliant, and stories are glue.
For the nosy (like me):
Full Name: Megan Stafford, Birth Year: 1992, Star Sign: June Gemini (elite, I know), Enneagram: 4, Myers-Briggs: ENFP, Human Design: 3/5 Manifesting Generator, Blood Type: O-positive.
Stay a While
Whatever path (or link) brought you here, I’m glad you found Me’anda Media.
Pull up a chair, stay a while, and let’s see where the story takes us.
With curiosity, stories, and a little bit of weirdness*,

Megan Stafford
Founder, Me’anda Media
*Yes, I have used “a little bit of weirdness” in a cover letter… and got the job. When I left, that boss signed off his email with the same…You never know the impact you can make just by being you. Even in your weirdness.
Especially in your weirdness.
